Why was this project important?
The AI-powered chat solution was developed in response to the critical need for efficient, accessible, and customizable tools that can cater to the unique requirements of businesses across various sectors. It offers a way to integrate specialized knowledge seamlessly into businesses' operations, enhancing customer support, decision-making, and operational efficiency without the need for extensive IT resources or expertise.
Research insights
Working with product owners on researching user journeys and competitive analysis helped to understand user pain points and develop a product strategy. Assistance was provided in visualizing discussion scenarios and user flow, facilitating communication with stakeholders.

Solving Customer Problems with Simple Steps
The design should be easy to use and efficient, allowing users to set up and start using the AI quickly, without needing technical expertise. The main focus should be on making the interface simple, simplifying how data is entered into the AI, and providing clear, easy-to-follow instructions to help users gain valuable insights from the data.

Customization and Integration Drive User Adoption
To make the product popular with users, it needs to be easily customizable and integrate smoothly into current business workflows without causing disruptions. This means ensuring it connects well with tools like Slack, Jira, and Google Drive, and allowing businesses to personalize the AI’s responses and actions to match their brand.
Design exploration
Based on the research insights and a detailed analysis of the AI chat solution's modules, we began the process of finding solutions. This process focused on key features of the system, describing the user's steps from previewing and publishing the solution to managing different data sources. Additionally, it explained how usage and cost data are displayed in the dashboard and analytics modules, making the information easier to understand and access.
After my explorations, I started to create detailed designs for each feature and write design documents to clearly define the specifications.

Usability testing & POC
Before launching our product, we conducted usability tests and a Proof of Concept (POC) for the Japanese and Taiwanese market. This validation process was crucial for adapting our product to local preferences, improving usability, and ensuring market viability. It not only reduced the risk of post-launch failure but also provided a competitive edge by aligning the product with user and market expectations. Ultimately, this approach guided our resource allocation and refined our marketing strategies based on insightful feedback.
